The Weakest Link to return to BBC One but will there be a Christmas special?

Fans of The Weakest Link will be delighted to see the return of a brand new series of 12 new episodes which is to be hosted by comedian Romesh Ranganathan.

The quick-fire general knowledge quiz that’s filled full of jeopardy is to return for a brand new series, as Weakest Link comes to primetime on BBC One with an all-star line-up of celebrity contestants.

Due to return to our TV screens later this year, 12 new episodes are set to be produced with the Ranganation comedian taking over from iconic quizmaster Anne Robinson, who fronted the show for a total of 12 years in total.
