It’s Pancake Day!

Today is officially the yummiest day of the year – it’s Shrove Tuesday, better known as pancake day! Whilst we know Christmas might not be at the front of your minds right now, it is firmly on ours, which is why we thought we would bring you some tasty ways to incorporate Christmas into your pancakes.

On Pancake day, all we can think about is chocolate. Nutella, dark chocolate, white chocolate ALL CHOCOLATE! Sometimes though, it’s nice to add a few extra ingredients to give it a more festive twist…

Adding a sprinkle of Cinnamon or a grating of nutmeg to your mix whilst it’s cooking will give a bit of seasonal spice to your regular pancakes. Adding a dusting of icing powder will make you feel as though you’re in a winter wonderland. You can even add some melted chocolate orange to your pancakes to give a little edge.

Serve up with your favourite Hot Chocolate (we love the Options ‘Mint’ or ‘Belgian Chocolate’ yum!) in your favourite Christmas mug and cuddle up on the couch with a duvet and a Christmas movie. Bliss!
