Cinderella – Newcastle Theatre Royal’s 2016 Panto

There’s going to be loads of thigh slapping moments at Newcastle’s Theatre Royal as they have announced that Cinderella will be their 2016 Christmas panto.

Firm favourites Danny Adams, Clive Webb and Chris Hayward will be back for this their 12th panto at the Royal and the third time they have performed a production of it at the venue.

Outrageous costumes and gasps of surprise guaranteed as, with some help from the Fairy Godmother, the mice are magically turned into horses and the pumpkin becomes a beautiful carriage which will take Cinderella to the ball.

Producer Michael Harrison said:: “We’re going back to Cinderella. This will be the third time we’ve done it with Clive and Danny. It’s the one title you have to drop in every five or six years so we are really pleased to be doing it.

“Again it’s a new version, completely different to anything we have done before. It’s one of the most popular pantomimes so it’s always great to do.

Cinderella will run from November 22, 2016 to January 14, 2017. Public and online booking Now Open! Tickets from £12.50 available here.
