STOP! What you’re doing as Waitrose is next to reveal this year’s Christmas food offerings including Melting Sage & Onion Stuffing…

The months are flying through, it’s already nearing the end of July! and with Christmas in sight for many brands including Tesco and Dunelm, we couldn’t be happier that Waitrose is next in line to serve up what it will offer for your Christmas dinner and parties this year.
Now this has to be the brand’s biggest line-up yet with over 140 brand-new products set to hit shelves this winter, Waitrose wants to bring you a Christmas to remember.

Food, if we’re all honest, is one of THE main highlights of the day and like last year, Waitrose has created a super delicious feasting menu the whole family will enjoy.
Martyn Lee, Waitrose Executive Chef, said: “Our team have had a blast developing products for Christmas, with over 140 new products this year, it’s safe to say – we have been very busy. We wanted to do Christmas like nobody else this year and with our Ultimate Triple Nut Roast served in a beautiful panettone casing, social media driven Cinnamon Bunettone and great tasting, high welfare Chestnut-fed Galician Serrano Ham, I think we may have managed to do just that. Customers can be certain when they shop at Waitrose this festive season, they will have a Christmas to remember with the best quality products that not only look beautiful on their festive tables but taste amazing.”

So, without delaying any longer, we’ve put together our highlights from Waitrose & Partners’ Christmas 2023 food selection.
Waitrose’s culinary elves have been hard at work, crafting an enchanting spread of delectable canapés, snacks, and finger foods that will transport you to a world of pure gastronomic delight…a bit too much? but seriously 2023’s line-up really is a wonderland of flavours from this Shimmering Salmon Mousse made with smoked and poached salmon with a shimmering bronze lustre finish.

For more WOW factor to impress your guests how about Feta Popcorn with Hot Honey and Paneer Fries? the ultimate dippable party snacks.

As you gather around the Christmas dinner table, you want impressive centerpieces that embody the spirit of the season! From a Melting Sage & Onion Stuffing to feed 6 to the star of the show, Waitrose Half Leg of Lamb with a Cherry Glaze.

And to add a touch of green to your plates with these Shredded Sprouts and Cavolo Nero.

But, if you’re looking to serve up a vegan alternative, then you won’t be stuck as Waitrose’s NO. 1 Ultimate Plant-Based Festive Wellington with moreish mushroom duxelle with ‘no beef’ plant-based beef braised in a fragrant shallot, garlic and thyme vegetable stock will tick the box.

For dessert lovers, you better brace yourselves as we show you Deer-licious Sticky Toffee Pudding, yes it really does have gingerbread antlers on top.

If that hasn’t stopped you on your track then how about the Bûche de Noël, with layers of rich blonde chocolate mousse and silky salted caramel and caramelised biscuit sauce, on a milk chocolate base speckled with crunchy caramelised biscuit, yeah we’re impressed!

Like Tesco, it looks as though Waitrose have shifted away from Caterpillar-themed novelty cakes to bring you Jolly Jack Russel who even has a pink crown.

Mince pies? what about the Mince Pies?!, ah alas we didn’t think the UK retailer would fail us as they bring crumble mince pies with orange and cranberry but our favourite hands down have to go to Merry the Mince Pie – it’s adorable.

We can’t resist making up the honorary cheese board and yes ours is better than the rest for 2023 Waitrose unveils a white Stilton, spiced with Seville orange marmalade, warming stem ginger and sweet, juicy cranberries – we need this in our lives.

After this lot, you’ll be ready to hit the snooze button and doze off on the sofa…until it’s time for the annual Christmas sandwich.
