Aldi unveils William Conker’s magical ‘Christmas Factory’ advert

Last year’s advert gave a nod to the movie Home Alone and now Aldi has unveiled its 2023 Christmas advert featuring Kevin the Carrot for the eighth consecutive year and this time around it has a very Willy Wonka feel to it.

Kevin, joined by Grate Grandpa, stands with five lucky winners eagerly waiting to enter William Conker’s magical Christmas Factory.

As the motley crew of fruit and veg embark on the tour of the gravy-filled wonderland we see the Plumty-Dumptys prepare a BIG celebration as they dance and a boatload of trumpeting sprouts.

Guests were asked politely that they must not touch anything however that didn’t stop ‘Greedy, Gluttonous Grape’ and ‘Naughty Green Kiwi’ each landing themselves in bother and falling away, Kevin is finally the last carrot standing.

As the advert comes to a close William the Conker declares that Kevin has passed the test and presents him with the cheese to the factory.

Avid fans of Aldi’s Christmas advert will notice that the music played at the end is the same music as 1994’s Miracle on 34th when Santa is found innocent!
