Amazon’s version of Black Friday is here again and we’ll be listing all of the best deals so you can get your Christmas shopping done.
What is Amazon Prime Day 2018?
Prime Day is a mega shopping event with thousands of deals.
When is Prime Day?
The event is done to celebrate Amazon’s anniversary which this year will be the online giant’s 22nd. If previous year’s are to go by then we think that Prime Day will fall on either July 15th or July 16th. Amazon first ran Prime Day in 2015 and it has been so successful that the company decided to make it an annual event. The best thing about Prime Day? No need to go to the shops as all of the deals are online, so there is no risk of any arguments in the aisle!
Amazon Prime Day has been announced to run from midday July 16th until midnight on the 17th July.
Who can shop the Prime Day deals?
Amazon launched it’s Prime Day deals for only those who have an Amazon Prime subscription. If your not a paid member, you can’t get these deals. Membership costs £79 for the full year or you can take out a a month to month subscription from £7.99. Tip: If you haven’t used Prime before, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial, so you could take this out in July so you can take advantage of the deals without paying for membership – just remember to cancel before your first payment is due.
What kind of deals will there be?
Prime Day will bring deals, many of which will be on Amazon’s branded products such as Fire TV, Fire tablets, e-readers and the Echo if we’re to go on previous year’s deals. Other deals usually included 4K TV’s, mobile phones, kids toys, christmas decorations and more but don’t get caught up as some of the deals might not be any better than those outwith Prime Day.
What is Amazon Prime’s ‘Unbox Prime Day’ Event?
