The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra announces its full Christmas concert line-up which will see the return of popular Christmas at the Movies and a brand new show – A Very Merry Christmas.

If you love cooking mince pies, carol singing and watching granny have one to many sherries why not add attending BBC’s SSO’s (Scottish Symphony Orchestra ) concerts to part of your families’ seasonal celebrations.

This 2019 at City Halls, Glasgow you can enjoy a festive movies concert featuring music from the Golden Age of Hollywood including Disney! Hosted by singer and presenter Jamie MacDougall this magical event is perfect for the whole family. There are two shows on Sunday 15th December, one at 11am for 1 hour (so the little ones can go) and the other at 3pm until 5pm. Ticket prices start at £10 to £30, to book click here.

Brand new for 2019, A Very Merry Christmas conducted by Andrew Cottee is bringing his show to Scotland for the very first time. Joining Cottee and BBC SSO will be guest singers and jazz stars for a sensational concert of Christmas classics. From ‘Let it Snow’, ‘Winter Wonderland’, ‘The Christmas Song’ and ‘White Christmas’ this will make the perfect start to your holiday season.
