The official UTCT results are in! Check out which Christmas Pudding we thought was the best in our annual Christmas taste test.

Having Christmas Pudding on the big day is a staple in households up and down the country. Its rich taste makes each spoonful a symphony of flavours of warm spices, plump fruits, and a touch of brandy.
So once again we’ve gone and done all the “hard” work for you as we’ve tasted this year’s top Christmas puddings from some of the UK’s leading supermarkets and stores.

Our team absolutely adored this 6-month matured Christmas pudding, it had everything we would want from the get-go. Crammed with rich, boozy fruit and the whole candied orange slices that encase the pud had a lovely bite to them. We felt that you could really taste the vine fruits especially the orange and one bowl would not be enough! Looking for the showstopper? then ensure this is in your trolley this Christmas.

Moist, boozy, full of fruits and nuts is how we would describe Tesco’s Christmas pudding. If you’re a fan of boozy puddings this is certainly going to be a hit in your home. The fruits and nuts we evenly distributed throughout and had a very good texture – overall we thought this would be a hit at any Xmas party.
Every bite was indulgent and full of nuts including whole almonds. We thought that Iceland’s Xmas pud was generously filled and was not dense, claggy and heavy. The fruits were plump and juicy and not too heavy-handed with alcohol.
Coop 12-Month Matured Irresistible Luxury Christmas Pudding

Brimming with fruit, walnuts, almonds, brandy, sherry, and rum. Our team found it delectable, appreciating the blend of crunchy walnuts and almonds with the fruity richness. The infusion of brandy, sherry, and rum added a delightful depth of flavour.
