We asked Mandy from our team to assemble and decorate this Christmas tree, here’s what she said. “When I first saw the box I thought, a 6ft Christmas tree can’t be in there, it’s way to compact but when I opened up the box I was surprised to be greeted with a 6ft pre-lit Christmas tree. So I lifted it out of the box and all of the tree came out in one lift but this one was very different to previous trees I’ve helped assemble, it was literally a pop-up tree.

The Christmas tree is in two parts but it is all connected together, the main body of the tree has spring rings in circles so that it just slides onto the polls and the top is then attached last.

To assemble I placed the included tree stand and the two poles as per the instructions into the Christmas tree stand then it was time to put the tree in place, I lifted the 6ft Green Pop Up Pre Lit Christmas Tree up and in the middle there are two circle slots that you need to put over the poles and then I put to top part into the final slot, I think it took me less than 2 minutes to assemble and have this tree standing. It is a pre-lit tree which is a warm white colour and is evenly distributed all over the tree, giving the tree a warm look and then it was just a case of decorating with lots of baubles.

I will say that the tree was not sharp to touch and virtually none of the pine needs came off when I was putting this together. I decorated this mainly with brown, gold, orange and green baubles to give a rustic look and it looks beautiful.

This Homebase pre-lit Christmas tree is also very easy to disassemble, I simply unplugged the lights, removed all of the baubles and basically lifted the top and the second part in one go and flattened in the sides, this went back into the box with ease and it folded down fairly small, saving space for storage.

Overall I was highly impressed with this Christmas tree, it is pre-lit so no need to worry about buying lights, it takes less than 2 minutes to assemble and is great when trying to store away as this does not take up very much space, brilliant tree.”
