Asda, Argos, and M&S Food have already unveiled their full Christmas campaigns, while Aldi teased us with a quick, exciting clip. And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for — John Lewis has finally revealed its full 2025 Christmas advert!

What is the John Lewis 2025 Christmas Advert about?

Amidst the rustle of torn wrapping paper and the buzz of festive excitement, we meet a Dad tidying up by the tree. As he clears the floor, he finds one last unopened gift tagged “Dad” with a smiley face. Inside is a vinyl record — Where Love Lives by Alison Limerick. Curious, he places it on the record player, and as the opening bars fill the room, the magic begins.

As the needle drops, the Dad is suddenly swept back to the 1990s – flashing lights, friends, and pure joy on the dance floor. Through the strobe lights, he spots his teenage son, and in a heartbeat, time begins to blur. The music swells, and memories flash – his son’s first steps, his first cries, moments that shaped their bond. The song becomes a bridge between memory and love, between who they were and who they are now.

Back in the present, Labrinth’s reimagined version plays softly. The Dad, lost in the moment, doesn’t notice his son watching from the stairs. There’s a shy smile, an embrace, and a quiet understanding — no words needed. It’s a simple, beautiful reminder that love never fades, and sometimes the perfect gift says everything.
