Morrisons has revealed its festive advert for 2022 and it brings back ‘Farmer Christmas’ for the second year running. WATCH the advert here.

Farmer Christmas is once again swapping the sleigh for his tractor as Morrisons launch this year’s festive ad showcasing food, farmers and its own food makers at the heart of Christmas.
The spotlight is also on Morrisons’ own colleagues – many of whom feature in the ad – who are the “real life elves” who help make more than half the fresh food that Morrisons sells.
The first out of ten Christmas TV adverts with the first airing November 7th on Good Morning Britain follows Farmer Christmas travelling across fields on a tractor to his festive shop.
There we see Morrisons ‘elves’ hard at work preparing festive dishes made by the UK grocer. Farmer Christmas introduces a Morrisons baker creating puff pastry mince pies in “magic ovens” (or normal ovens, as the baker clarifies), a fishmonger showing off smoked Scottish salmon, and a butcher who passes Farmer Christmas a traditionally glazed gammon joint, which he describes as being “like a big edible Christmas present”.
We then see Farmer Christmas delivering a festive feast to a family before inviting himself to sit down and join them. As the advert comes to a close, Farmer Christmas declares, Morrisons is the “only supermarket to be officially approved by me” because of its commitment to British farming.
