This year, Sainsbury’s wants to celebrate every single moment of mischief and fun around a families Christmas dinner table.

Set to the “At Last” soundtrack by Etta James (very fitting after last year!) the ‘A Christmas to Savour’ advert begins by travelling through a home that sees very common festive mishaps.

From Grandpa cracking open a nut and exploding everywhere, cheeky children with grins on their faces as they play and of course a game of “Who Am I?” with Grandma.

Through the excitement, mouth-watering Christmas treats are highlighted including Taste the Difference Chicken Waffle, Sainsbury’s Christmas Prosecco Rosé and of course the delicious Taste the Difference Salted Caramel & Chocolate Star.

Finally, the camera zooms out to show the whole room, which is full of joy. A dog that is mid jump falls to the floor and with that, the scene resumes. The gravy pours, the cracker cracks and the fizz sprays. Over the soundtrack, Etta James’ ‘At Last’, laughter and chatter can be heard once more.

The words ‘A Christmas to Savour’ appear on the screen, with Stephen Fry’s voiceover proclaiming: “It’s been a long time coming, so let’s make it a Christmas to savour”.
