Christmas time is all about parties, sparkly decorations and old dusty ornaments coming down from the loft which equals – crumbs on the floor, glitter everywhere and dust in every nook and cranny of your home, all the reasons why it’s is why super important to have a reliable and powerful hoover to tackle all the mess.
So when AO sent us over the Shark Anti-Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum Cleaner for review, we seriously put it through the test.
Let’s begin with the specifics, the Shark Anti-Hair Wrap IZ202UK Cordless Vacuum Cleaner takes three and a half hours to charge which gives you a run time of around 40 minutes. Weighs 4.74kg (feels like around two bags of sugar) and can work on both carpet and hard flooring.
It has Anit-Hair wrap technology, a handy boost function for extra suction power and the special tech traps 99.9% of allergens inside the vacuum.
Now we’ve covered the basics, it’s time to move on to assembling and this was literally a five-minute job. The products are encased safely inside the Shark box, with the three main components in separate places.
All you had to do was clip the three parts (the long bar to the head and the top which holds the battery to the bar) it was quick and easily done.
You have two options to choose from making it a good option for houses with mixed floor types, as we were carpet we switched to this.
Once on, the Shark cordless hoover was noisy but not nearly as loud as other plug-ins and in terms of how heavy we were very surprised at just how lightweight it felt, we didn’t have any aching arms and even though the battery is located at the top of the hoover it wasn’t uncomfortable to manoeuvre around.
Now here at UTCT HQ, it will come as no surprise that we have a Christmas tree or two and yes, there’s glitter everywhere making it the BEST place to really put the Shark Anti-Hair Wrap IZ202UK Cordless Vacuum to the test.
And the results… glitter be gone! the vacuum in one fell swoop sucked up all the glitter and dust and our carpet never looked better, don’t get us wrong, it’ll no doubt be back on in 10 minutes to pick up more but we know it will do the job.
One of our highlights of the vacuum has to be its storage as it stands really neatly and with the folding option it can be stored away anywhere in the home and it doesn’t take up any room.
Overall, Shark’s Anti-Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum does everything it says on the box and we know we’ll be using this for a good few years and for clean home lovers this would make a fabulous Christmas gift too.
