Tesco’s ‘Helping Feed Your Christmas Spirit’ Advert – Watch Below:
The festive tunes are being blasted across the airwaves, trees are being put up (well, ours is anyway!) and UK retailers including Asda, Sainsbury’s, Argos and Aldi have launched their Christmas adverts Now Tesco has joined in on all of the fun as they drop their very heart-warming advert.
‘Helping Feed Your Christmas Spirit’ follows the story of Gary, whose Christmas spirit explodes after his grandfather hands him a pack of Tesco Gingerbread Men. As his spirit levels reach an all-time high, his environment around him is transformed into a magical gingerbread land.
Packed full of exciting gingerbread moments including a gingerbread scooter and even a receipt, Gary also then finds the magical world crumbling around him as he thinks about the absence of his grandmother at this special time.
We then see both Gary and his Grandfather coming together to rebuild the gingerbread house, something he used to do with his grandmother, as it all comes together the house takes centre stage at the dinner table.
As everyone sits to enjoy the Christmas feast, the Christmas spirit levels start to rise and we see the exterior of Grandad’s house transform into gingerbread too.
The three-minute film showcases life’s ups and downs and how moments with loved ones, food and home can top up your spirit.
Airing Tuesday 12th during ITV’s Martin Lewis Money show and Channel 4’s Great British Bake Off this is sure to melt hearts across the UK.
Plus, Tesco has announced a 10p donation to Trussell and Fareshare for every gingerbread product sold this Christmas.
