Let us introduce you to the newest addition to the LOGO board game family, Drumond Park’s – The Best of Christmas Game – Not For Kids!

Every year, UnderTheChristmasTree like many families up and down the country love playing a game around the table after the big dinner, and for us, as there are no young children as of right now, The Best of Christmas – NOT FOR KIDS game was the perfect choice.
Splitting into two teams, Elaine & John on one and Mandy & Katy on the other with Holly as question master, if you don’t have an extra non-player don’t worry everyone gets a shot at being QM!
We set up the tree, each team took 16 decorations and shuffled the cards and placed them question side down, there are three kinds of Question Cards: Picture Cards, Pot Luck Cards, “Theme Cards”. Now it was time to play! Mandy started first as she’s the youngest and holly read out a Pot Luck question based on which spirit was Britain’s favourite drink at Christmas 2019? unfortunately after much deliberating, and although we thought sherry it was wrong!
The question was then passed over to John & Elaine who guessed correctly (it was Gin!) and asked the remaining questions on the back of the card which they guessed right and moved up on the tree.
By the end of the game, Elaine and John had managed to make it all the way to the top of the tree, however, in between much laughter and even some red cheeks. Overall we loved the board game, it gave us so many laughs and we’ll certainly be bringing back out when other family members and friends come around – just not any children as some questions are a little naughty!”
