ASDA Extra Special Gingerbread Gin Liqueur is a spiced Gin which has been infused with ginger.
Holly said: “This is a lovely gin, I could really taste the ginger throughout the whole bottle. It was not overpowering and had quite a sweet taste to the gin, I really enjoyed this one and I think it would be nice to add a splash of this into ginger biscuits.”

Spiced Plum & Clementine Gin has a warm and rich plum taste.
Elaine said: “Spiced Plum & Clementine Gin is exactly what is needed after a wet, cold wintry day. I could taste the rich plum with a spice throughout the gin. This was balanced up with some sweet clementine which complemented the rich plum flavour. Very tasty!.”

M&S Christmas Dry Gin
Packed full of fiery ginger, cardamon and cinnamon, this delicious gin is perfect for the festive season.
Holly said: “I really enjoyed the M&S Christmas Dry Gin, it packed full of flavour. I could really taste the ginger and cinnamon which was just such a nice taste. I had this with a dash of soda water and I felt the drink was really refreshing with a hint of spice.”

Caorunn Scottish Raspberry Gin
Caorunn handcrafted gin has been infused with Scottish raspberry to give a fruity flavour.
Holly said: “I really do enjoy flavoured Gin’s and Caorunn Raspberry didn’t disappoint. When I first tasted this I thought it was going to be sharp and a little to bitter for me but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Yes there was Raspberry the whole way through this drink but it had hints of vanilla throughout which worked perfectly with the raspberry. I think I’ve just found my new go-to gin!”

Highland Boundary Birch & Elderflower
This Highland Boundary gin is full of flavour which was rich and fragrant.
Holly said: “I really enjoyed the taste of this gin. I’m already a fan of Elderflower and this gin was quite floral in taste with hints of lavender and was quite sweet. I loved the taste of the gin with a little bit of tonic water, lovely.”

Elaine said: “I think I have found my new favourite. I’m not a huge gin fan but this mince pie gin has just changed my mind. The gin taste just like a mince pie and is lovely either on it’s own or added into mulled wine.”

Penrhos Elderflower & Apple Gin
Packed full of flavour, this Apple & Elderflower gin is a refreshing drink to have.
Mandy said: “The moment I opened up this bottle I could smell the Elderflower and the Apple straight away. The gin was refreshing and zesty, I could also taste notes of blueberry and felt that the apple and elderflower worked so well together. This would make the ideal after dinner drink.”

This sweet and smokey gin has been infused to taste like marshmallows.
John said: “Absolutely stunning! I couldn’t wait to try this one it’s own which was delicious, it tasted just like a marshmallow, it was sweet and smokey. I also tried it in hot chocolate and it was incredible, I’ll be stocking up on this gin!.”

Packed full of flavours, this spiced gin will give you a real warmth this Christmas.
Katy said: “I love a spiced drink especially when it is freezing outside. The Spiced Gin was packed full of flavours, I could taste hints of cinnamon, plums and I would say some ginger, I loved it, this would be great with a mince pie or two.”

Ramsbury Vodka
Vodka is one of those spirits that can be added to make a cocktail or with a splash of your favourite mixer such as coca cola, soda water or with some tasty cranberry juice.
Katy from the team said: “Vodka is my choice of drink when it comes to spirits and I love trying out festive drinks with vodka. I have to say Ramsberry Vodka was smooth to drink and I could really taste the vodka in my drink. The ABV is 43% which really did give the vodka a real kick in terms of flavour, I loved it!”

Abelha Organic Cachaca Silver
Abelha Organic Cachaca Silver is a fruit, fresh sugar cane drink which is also suitable for vegans which has been made for 6 months in open steel tanks.
Mandy from the team said: “I really enjoyed this drink, it was smooth and really easy to drink. To taste it was quite sweet and had notes of fresh sugar cane and tropical fruits. It also had quite a fruity aroma which I liked, I tried it on it’s own and loved the taste, I think I’m going to try a few cocktails with this too!.”

A blend of cognac, giving a delicate taste filled with fruit and a fresh oaky taste.
Holly said: “I really enjoyed the Courvoisier cognac, it was packed full of flavours and I could taste the oaky notes. I could taste the grapes and felt this was a warm drink. I would definitely have this on it’s own with a little ice or in a cocktail.”

Black Cow Vodka which is made in West Dorset, is a pure milk vodka.
Holly said: “This was one smooth vodka, it was so easy to drink and I could really taste the vodka in my drinks. I tried adding a little dash to my hot chocolate and I loved it. The vodka didn’t over-power the hot chocolate but just gave it a whole new taste, I loved it.”

Katy said: “I loved El Bandarra, it had everything I could have wanted from a drink, it was packed full of different flavours including licorice and cinnamon which is one of my favourite spices. This drink would certainty put a warmth through you on a cold winter night.”

The Quiet Man 8-Year old Single Malt
A blended Irish whiskey from The Quite Man range which is triple distilled, first in Bourbon barrels, triple distilled in Irish whiskey pot stills and blended with 20% Single Malt.
John from our team said: “I really enjoy trying different whiskies and The Quiet Man 8-year old single malt didn’t disappoint. This whisky is very smooth to drink and has hints of honey with a slight spicy oak taste to it. Lovely to drink and I would highly recommend.”

With hints of oak spices, salted chocolate and has a gentle finish, the Pogues whisky is a hit.
John said: “The Pogues Whisky was absolutely delicious, it was packed full of rich tones and I could taste the oak spice through out. I had this with just a dash of water and I thought it gave a really nice, easy finish.
I would also recommend adding a little to your coffee instead of Baileys.”

The Famous Grouse Whisky
The Famous Grouse is a blended whisky which has a golden colour and is packed full of flavours.
Elaine said: “I love Famous Grouse whisky, its sweet and I could taste hints of oak and sherry. I tried this both on it’s own and I also tried it with a little Coca-Cola and I have to say I preferred it with Cola as I prefer my drinks a bit sweeter and this added in a little bit more sweetness however on it’s own was tasty too!”

Rebel Yell French Oak Barrel Special Finish
Brand new for 2019, this Rebel Yell French Barrel has even more depth and complexity and has been finished in toasted French Oak barrels for six months.
Elaine from the team said: “I have tried the Kentucky straight bourbon and have to say I’m a fan, so I was excited to try the French Oak barrel and I think I might have found my new girls night in drink. The bourbon whiskey had notes of toffee, cinnamon and even hints of chocolate. I would say that a little in your drink will go along way not just in taste but this has an ABV of 45% so it does have a real punch, perfect.”
The Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky
Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky is the first whisky to be distilled in the Cotswolds.
John said: “Wow, this single malt was amazing, it is a fairy deep amber colour and the minute I opened the bottle I could smell honey and butterscotch. To taste peach and there was even little hints of black pepper so this gave such a good balance. I think this would be ideal as an after-dinner drink or to serve to family and friends at a party.”

Glenfairn Speyside Single Malt Whisky 70Cl has a sweet, light and elegant aroma.
John said: “This whisky was really nice and smooth to drink, it was light and I could taste notes of toffee and vanilla however it was not to sweet to drink. I had mine was some water and I have to say I could also taste hints of oak as this had been matured in oak casks.”

Aged a full 8 years under the Caribbean sun and packed full of flavour.
Elaine said: “This new Bacardi is just amazing, it is packed full of flavours such as butterscotch, apricot and nutmeg. The rum is smooth and has a sweetness to it that is not overly sweet as there is a spice to it. I could also taste hints of clove and even some cinnamon, just the perfect blend of ingredients to make this Bacardi rum extra special.”
