The Smurfs sequel has knocked off it’s competitors by topping the United Kingdoms box office chart on its opening weekend 2nd August 2013, leaving Wolverine and Monster’s Inc feeling pretty…Blue!
The animated cartoon family film, which features the voices of Hank Azaria, Neil Patrick Harris and Katy Perry took in a whopping £3.2 million in ticket sales.
Taking in more than £1.5 Million against it’s rivals Monster University and Wolverine these funny little blue characters really know how to throw a party!
