Toy Story 4 rumours sent to infinity and beyond by Disney

Disney denies reports that Toy Story 4 is in the pipeline.

On Tuesday 19th, Twitter was the centre of a new rumor (who would have guessed?) about a new installment of the hugely popular Pixar series Toy Story after a Columbian radio executive tweeted:

“In 2015, Pixar will release ‘Toy Story 4,’ the voices of Tom Hanks,Tim Allen and Joan Cusack confirmed for the main characters.”

However, after fans of the movie where the toys come to life hastag’d until their hearts were content, a Walt Disney representative then took to BuzzFeed and said that “nothing official” has been announced, and the studio is currently investigating the origin of the speculation.

Toy Story 3 which became the highest-grossing animated movie ever after taking over £660 million at the box office worldwide is unlikely to get a follow up? we can’t see Disney passing up on this and neither does Tom Hanks the voice of the character Woody as back in 2011 the actor said:

“I think they are trying to do another one. The spirit afoot is to make a fourth.”

At the moment however it seems Disney are concentrating on its next picture Monsters University – a prequel to 2001’s Monsters, Inc – which is due for release on July 12 in the UK.

Finding Nemo 2 has also been confirmed for release in 2016 (your singing ‘just keep swimming’ aren’t you?) with the original voice of Marlin (Albert Brooks) reprising his role.

Will Walt Disney release Toy Story 4 in 2015? or do you think they will hold off for a few more years? Whatever the outcome it is probably safe to tweet Toy Story 4 will be coming out but in what year?
