Uh Oh…There’s An Elf On The Shelf!

Elf On The ShelfArriving at UTCT offices one morning we noticed that there was an addition to the team… The Elf On The Shelf so we knew we had to be on our best behaviour as he would be reporting back to Santa! We were kindly sent these to review.

After being made aware of Twinke (our name for Elf On The Shelf) we were told that this little fella would be staying until the end of each day, great!,  however he would then return every night back to the North Pole & report to Santa on our behaviour.  By the next morning, Twinkle was back in the office in a new position ready to keep an eye on things.

Under strict orders, Twinkle and all other Elf on the Shelves are not allowed to talk to children as this might have an affect on their magic however they do have special permission from Santa to chat to adults & let them know how well behaved your little one has or hasn’t been.

The Elf On The Shelf

Wearing his red (what looks like) onesie and Santa hat (oh yes trying to keep on the nice list) Twinkle was a handy remider for us to be good and do good as the main man was making a list and checking it twice and we certainly didn’t want our Elf on the Shelve to go back with any naughty reports.

Elf On The Shelf arrived in a special festive themed box and came with “The Elf On The Shelf: A Christmas Tradition” book.  This explains to you and your child why he’s in your home, why your Elf cannot speak to you and he will also let you know that he needs to visit the North Pole every night where to report to Santa on how well behaved you’ve been.

You’ll need to go online and register your Elf with a name as his magic will not be able to work if not (we called oursTwinkle) you will then recieve a very special adoption note from Santa and now your Elf is really part of your family.

Come Christmas day, Elf On The Shelve has done his job and will need to return home – back to the North Pole, however he will be back next year….Arnie’s ‘I’ll be back’ springs to mind!

A fun and brilliant way to remind kids that the “elf is watching” when they misbehave and keeping the magic of Christmas alive, this hide-and-seek game will make sure no one in the family are on Santas naughty list.
