There’s no escaping it, Christmas is almost here which can mean only one thing… our televisions will soon be flooded with Christmas adverts! We love seeing the latest advertisements on our screens, but the big question remains, who will be first to air theirs?
Last year, some of the first Christmas adverts included Park, 24 studio, John Lewis & M&S.

Marks & Spencers had our tummy’s grumbling every time their advert came on the television, and had us delving back into our childhood every time we saw Rosie Huntington Whiteley in the fairytale-esque inspired advert. This was actually aired a day before John Lewis, on the 7th of November 2013.
In 2013, we saw the John Lewis advert take centre stage with “the bear and the hare” television advert which warmed our hearts and had us singing Lily Allen’s theme tune for months on end. The advert aired on November 8th 2013, just 8 days after Halloween, is it likely that this years adverts will run at the same time?
Trends have shown that Christmas is starting somewhat early in 2014, with many festive gifts and foods being on display in supermarkets already. We think the Supermarkets will be first to release their advertisements, followed closely by retailers, the coca cola advert and others.
Who do you think will be the first to air their Christmas advertisement? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
