After firing up the crowds with its debut season last year, the dramatic Dragon Slayer is also back for a scorching summer of evening shows. The tale of local Midlands hero Guy of Warwick, Dragon Slayer will once again see the scaly creature light up the Castle, with even more pyrotechnics and light displays.
Built over 1,100 years ago, visitors can now roam throughout Warwick Castle’s grounds, stately rooms and even the old gaol to gain an exciting insight into what life was like at the site through the ages.

Explore The Kingmaker where the sights, sounds and smells of Medieval England are brought to life in a walk through journey of the life of Richard Neville, the man who helped make or break royal connections, earning him the moniker of ‘The Kingmaker’.
Free tours led by the expert History Team will let you in on all the Castle’s secrets, introducing you to the different periods at the Castle and some of its key inhabitants such as Daisy Greville, whose glamourous events hosted at the Castle were infamous and are today recalled in the Royal Weekend Party exhibition.
Guests can also marvel at the twice-daily Winter Birds of Prey Show as the Castle’s magnificent creatures swoop low over the ramparts, as well as the mighty trebuchet firing alongside the River Thames.
