Popular charity fundraiser, Text Santa, will return in December 2014 to raise money and awareness for another six UK based charities.

Every year since 2011, UnderTheChristmasTree like millions of others have tuned in to ITV to watch the festive show which raises huge amounts for six different British charities every year.

This year’s show will be supporting Alzheimer’s Society, Guide Dogs, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Teenage Cancer Trust, Together for Short Lives and WellChild with 100% of donations made by viewers going directly to the charities.

In 2013 Text Santa was watched by a peak audience of 6.1 million people and raised a whopping £5.1 million. This was divided by the six chosen charities which were Age UK, Barnardo’s, BeatBullying, British Heart Foundation, CLIC Sargent and Help the Hospices.

How can we all get invlolved? well in 2013 it was all about “Hattitude” with fun and crazy Santa hat’s, recipes and more being purchased this year we can expect more of the same. For information and ideas head on over to: ITV Text Santa Website.
