6 Reasons you’re feeling Christmassy in August!
Wondering why you’re already starting to feel Christmas is in the air? We’ve spotted six reasons why you’re allowed to feel Christmassy even in Summer.

OK so Jack Frost isn’t quite nipping at our nose and the sound of sleigh bells aren’t filling the air, however we’re still feeling as though Christmas is in the air, but why? here’s six reason we found!

1. You can’t wait for Christmas telly
Festive specials are being announced left, right and centre plus shows such as Call the Midwife and Bad Move are already tweeting new pictures from the episodes.

2. Selfridges Christmas store has opened
Making it the earliest in the world to open its Christmas shop, Selfridges have been posting pictures of it’s new baubles, decorations and giftware for the festive season.

3. Crafting has begun
Christmas crafting whether it be cards, boxes or even baubles have begun, with many taking to twitter to show off designs – we wondered why we wanted to buy our cards now! Hobbycraft even have Christmas online too.

4. Supermarkets adding in the odd products
OK, so we’ve had all the press days and now festive magazines, mince pies and even the odd Christmas packaging are popping up – we’re just waiting for Tesco to bring in the sweet tubs.

5. Mentions of Christmas across the airwaves
We’re not sure about you, but we’re noticing Ken Bruce over on BBC Radio 2 has been mentioning Christmas quite a few times – so much for the Bah Humbug Ken!

6. The nights are getting darker
The longest day has been and gone and even though we’re still in the midst of Summer, we’ve noticed the nights are drawing in far quicker than we even expected. Before you know it, cosy socks will be on and hot chocolates will be being poured.
