The BBC has confirmed that Granville and company will be returning to our screens for a Christmas special.
Following the shows six episodes earlier in the year, the BBC has confirmed that they have renewed Still Open All Hours for a second season and that there will be a Christmas special.
Still Open All Hours follows Granville, who some years back inherited the shop from his Uncle Arkwright. Running the shop with his son Leroy, the series will follow a day in the life of the shop and its customers including retired Nurse Gladys Emmanuel.
Gareth Edwards who is the executive producer says:
“It‘s wonderful to be returning with our fantastic cast to Granville’s daft, warm and life-affirming world, full of the kind of characters and situations that could only come from the remarkable mind of Roy Clarke,”
Production on the Christmas Special and the second season is set to commence this week in Doncaster.
