Elaine from our team suffers from dry patches on her face especially during the winter and finding time to book appointments for eyebrow waxing or threading can feel impossible so when Braun released it’s two in one facial cleanser and face epilator she put it to the test.
Starting with the facial cleansing brush, Elaine moistened the brush, (you get 2 brushes: sensitive and extra sensitive), lightly with some water and placed her cleansing gel on top, you only need a small amount!. Sliding the switch to on, she started with her forehead and made light circular motions around her face, avoiding the eye area, she said: ‘I loved the feeling of the extra sensitive brush on my skin, it was so soft and didn’t leave my skin feeling dry and red, I focused more on my problem areas including extra dry patches on my cheeks and blackheads around my nose, after a few times of using I could honestly start to tell the difference, my skin was a lot less dry and blackhead were starting to disappear’

Moving onto the facial epilator and the one Elaine was weary about trying, she removed the cleansing brush and was popped on the epilating head, ensuring her skin was clean before using, she turned on and decided to start with the uni brow area, she said ‘At first I noticed a little pain, however that’s normal for most epilators, but by the time I had used more than once the pain really wasn’t noticeable at all. I moved gently in the directions of the hair growth and could see instant results, I did notice a little redness on the skin however this could be eliminated if I did it at night as by morning all redness would be away’.
