We don’t know about you, but no Christmas would be the same if we didn’t have our annual game of Monopoly. It might be enough to make us all fall out, but it seems that the new release from Brian May might be enough to make us Rock Out instead!
Queen guitarist and all round musical rock legend Brian May has announced that he will release a new Queen version of Monopoly.
The board game is set to be emblazoned with iconic pictures of the rock icons with the plot of the game changing from collecting properties, to following the career of the band which starts with their first performance at the imperial college in 1970 and their final performance as a five piece with Freddie Mercury in 1986 at Knebworth.
You can also expect to find new symbols from the set, including Brian May’s iconic guitar, to a Hoover to represent the hit ‘I Want To Break Free’.
Speaking of the new board game, May said:“We’ve been very secretly developing Queen Monopoly for over a year, And it’s due in a shop near you in May. I’m excited — it was a blast working on it — like making an album! We hope you love it!”
