The Meccano Meccanoid G15 allows you to experience new robotics as you can build your very own personal robot, making this the perfect gift for adventurous and imaginative people. The Meccano Meccanoid G15 is suitable for ages 10+ and includes 600 parts to work with.
All you need to do is assemble Meccanoid’s frame and insert the batteries and this will use it’s ‘meccabrain’ to guide you through connecting it’s motors.
Meccano is known for being flexible and allowing you to use your imagination to build what ever you can think of and the Meccanoid G15 is no different. As with all Meccano products you can take this apart and build a dinosaur or a tiger – anything you desire!
Programming this may sound tricky, but actually it’s really quite straight forward. Thanks to Meccanoid’s Learned Intelligent Movement (LIM) technology, you can interact with Meccanoid by moving it’s arms or speak to it to record what you are saying and the clever robot will repeat what you did. Just to add to how clever Meccanoid is, it has six motors to control it’s arms, legs and head. To top it all off, it also features over 500 LED colour options for lighting up Meccanoid’s eyes.
To get interactive, you can download the free Meccanoid app which is available for your smart phone or device. You can place your smart device into Meccanoid where the motion capture feature will allow the robot to mirror your every move. You can even make him twist and turn at the swipe of a button.
Meccanoid tells jokes and even plays games with more than 1000 pre programmed phrases to interact with it’s users.
