Christmas Fashion Trends 2017: An Insight To What You Will Be Wearing This Festive Season

We all love Fashion but it’s hard keeping up with latest trends for all the seasons. Luckily, being the Christmas experts that we are, we have a pretty good idea of what you’ll be wearing this festive season. Here’s some of our top picks from the new ranges so far:

Our sources tell us you can expect to see lots of plaid, metallics, reds, yellow & asymmetric hemlines amongst a varying amount of textures. This year, Autumn and Winter is full of different textures, including quilted, faux fur, PV and suede.

Primark are launching a brand new Harry Potter Christmas collection including House Christmas baubles plus jumpers, socks, pyjama’s and even plimsole shoes!.  Ankle boots are always a must in winter and with many celebs already spotted wearing these this Summer, there’s no wonder why this years lookbooks are packed with vibrant variations such as bright pink, orange/red and blue with a satin look. Leather is another key trend from Primark as the store reveals new leather skirts and dresses.

New Look are also focusing on certain key trends such as asymmetric lines on dresses and skirts. High waisted trousers and jeans are back to stay alongside Faux Fur coats to keep you cosy during the colder nights.  Burgundy, grey and red will be popular colours in store and online.

Dorothy Perkins is featuring this trend a lot and is also going with velvet materiel and leather. Pink, Blue and Burnt Orange are the favoured colours for the retailer this year and will be featured in all it’s ranges.

Men can expect to see tailored coats, backpacks and suede shoes this year. Colours such as grey, black and even bright orange will play a big part in this years A/W trend from New Look.

The return of padded jackets for men both longed sleeved and sleeveless will be a great choice for gifts this Christmas. The go to colours for men?  metallic silver, blue and black will be the key this season alongside tartan.
