Christmas Gift 2016 – The Fairy Reward Box Review

We were delighted when we were sent The Fairy Reward Box to review it was passed over to Elaine, this is what she had to say about it.

‘Firstly I really must congratulate therewardbox.co.uk for the thought that has been put into their packaging. The sturdy box is made from firm cardboard but one look at the detailing on the box will have you ready to make a purchase.

This beautifully crafted Fairy Reward Box (it’s also available as a Pirate Reward Box) is a fun take on a reward chart, only this time your little Pirate or Fairy can collect silver star tokens rather than the traditional stickers.

Each Reward Box will appear a little different as both the fairy house and pirate chest are crafted from wood and would look amazing in any child’s bedroom or playroom.

Suitable from birth to around 8 years old the reward box encourages good behaviour and each token collected can be replaced with small rewards. Suggestions when giving tokens to different ages are shown on the box and are divided into 4 age ranges

  • up to 18 months – perfect newborn or christening gift and a beautiful keepsake
  • 18 months to 3 years – help manage potty training and toddler tantrums
  • 3 -5 years – set bedtime routines and help develop personal goals
  • 5 years and over – encourage homework and help develop a sense of responsibility.Offer pocket money in exchange for tokens to save in their money boxes.

The Fairy Reward Box is a fantastic tool to help with potty training, establishing bedtime & sleeping routines and encouraging good behaviour and as each goal is achieved a silver star token can be given daily to add to their collection and exchanged weekly for a chosen reward.

It’s very common for children to refuse to do tasks, eat meals, go to bed, clean their teeth etc but the offer of a silver star may well change all that! Counting their ‘stars’ every evening before bed will encourage them to try even harder in order to increase their star numbers and it will also help little ones with their counting.

I think the Reward Box is just amazing and in my opinion it would make a wonderful gift for any little girl or boy, especially as Christmas approaches this would be ideal to try and keep the little ones calmer during Christmas Eve!
