Winter can be pretty harsh on our skin, making it dry and difficult to put on make-up without it going all cakey. We were kindly send the new Liz Earle Superskin Superstars skincare set to try and here’s what we thought of it:
When we asked in the office who would like to volunteer to try out the new skin seat Mandy instantly raised her hand as she loves all things beauty and skincare. Taking a look at the packaging Mandy said it was of a high quality and it looked so Christmasey as it had a beautiful wreath on the front and a 3D logo of the Liz Earle brand which held as a clasp to open and close the box.
Opening up the box Mandy was greeted with three lovely Liz Earle products which Superskin Face Serum, Superskin Eye Cream and the Superskin Concentrate For Night which were securly packaged insude by a sheet of plastic and each were in its own box.
Taking each of the skincare products from the box and opening each one up to smell them, Mandy noticed that each of the products had its own distinct fragrence. The Face Serum really gave of the Rhubard and Pomagranet scent but it was not over powering, using this products was amazing it instantly sunk into Mandy’s skin and reduced the appearence and any pores that were there and it also reduced on her face which is ideal with the colder weather.
Next up to try was the Superskin Eye Cream, this one was Mandy’s favourite not only did it smell so nice as it had the scent of pomogranate it was soft anf gentle around the eye area and it reduced puffiness which was one of Mandy’s favourite things about the product. It also made her eyes appear brighter and made the skin around her eye feel hydrated which again is definitley a plus in the cold harsh winter weather.
Last up was the Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate For Night which was a gold colour liquid and it had Argan and Organic Rosehip oil, Neroli, Lavender and Charmomile essential oils in it. Trying this product Mandy was a little apprehencive as some serums in the past have left her skin feeling oily and clogged up. However this was the complete opposite as this went on smooth, it did not feel like it was just lying on her skin, it was hydrating, soothing and it left her skin feeling plump and soft and not greasy.
Overall Mandy loved all three of the Liz Earle Superskin Superstar products each of them offering something different and making skin look and feel better.
