When we first received the Penclic, John from our office, who loves all things gadgets, was more than happy to try this out. When he first looked at the pen he couldn’t believe this gadget was actually a mouse for the computer as it looked so much like an ordinary ball point pen.
Lifting out of the box John said the mouse was very light to hold and felt the Penclic had a good and comfortable grip. Setting it up was easy, John simply inserted the battery into the mouse, charged up the battery using the included USB and switched the power button to ON.
John then activated the Bluetooth connection to the computer and pressed the button under the mouse to activate the Bluetooth search on the mouse. He then searched for Bluetooth devices on his computer and selected the Penclic Mouse B3, installed the mouse and it was ready to use.
Using the mouse was easy John simply held it like a pen with the bottom part acting like a traditional mouse and navigated around the computer screen with complete ease. All of the usual things you can do with a traditional mouse John could do with the Penclic, navigate left, click left and right, navigate right, middle click, scroll wheel and when he was finished he simply switched off.
John could not believe how easy the Penclic was to use and navigate around his computer. His arm felt more comfortable as there was very little bending at the elbow and as he is left handed he was delighted to discover that it can be used by both left and right hand users.
Overall John loved the Penclic B3 and would definitely use this as opposed to a traditional mouse. Costing around around £79.99 he felt that this is well worth the money.
