We were excited to see and review all that was included in the L’Occitane Classic Advent Calendar.We were kindly sent this to review.
L’Occitane 24-door advent calendar takes you through a magical journey across a constellation of stars to reveal the most wonderful gifts. Packed with a travel-sized assortment of their most popular bath, body and skincare products so when we received one to test Katy couldn’t wait explore all that this gorgeous 2018 beauty advent had to offer.
“‘I’m a huge fan of of unique advent calendars, I not only buy a couple for myself but also as gifts for friends and family which is why I was excited to see what L’Occitane’s 2018 Classic calendar of dreams had to offer this year especially as it’s worth £85 but will only cost £49.
First impressions – bright, bold and without even opening one of its doors, smelled blooming lovely. Untying the gold and yellow bow, the advent opens up like a very big book and has a countdown of 24 days which all have festive designs on the front and some even had French phrases such as “Mon Voue” – My Wish, on the doors.
At random I picked my first case to pop open and I can honestly say it was stuck in really well and unlike other calendars the products were not moving around on the inside. Starting with door 18, I was greeted with a message “make a wish” written inside followed with a 20ml Amande MILK Concentrate sample. Moving onto door number 4 was 30ml of Verbena Body lotion, these were the perfect travel-sized assortments.
I couldn’t bring myself to open too many more doors, especially Christmas Eve as I wanted to leave a little surprise for myself, however I can’t see it lasting as I really wanted to unveil them all.
In my opinion L’Occitane Christmas Advent Calendar is beautifully put together, smelled divine and contained some of my favourite creams and lotions from the brand, plus, as these were travel size, any newer product I hadn’t heard of I could test before buying the full size bottle. My skin is certainly going to be happy, healthy and nourished this festive season.”
