Getting started was easy, fast and fuss free, especially with the quick start guide. Pop in your MicroSD card (not supplied), remove the top cover, attach the Powered Magnetic Mount and stick to your windscreen, this was my only issue as it took a few attempts, I was then ready to go.
With a raft of technology, the rose gold dash cam automatically turned on the second I started my car. The device records in Full 1080p HD and uses the latest 6G glass lenses to provide a 140 degree view so I could see both sides of the road and capture my whole journey from start to finish.
Certainly one of the main features is the built in Wi-Fi as you can download the app straight to your smartphone or laptop to review your trip plus at just a push of a button you can save a clip and not have it recorded over.
Like me, you worry about parking in a busy shopping centre, especially over the festive period, in case of scratches. Fortunately this has built in sensors which pick up activity or impact in front of the vehicle-even when a driver isn’t present.
Overall I was highly impressed with our Rose Gold version of Nextbase 312GW Deluxe Dash Cam and it will stay in my car for the foreseeable future. Especially as Winter arrives, as more incidents can happen and I want to be securely covered with both my insurers and the police.
