Christmas Gift Review 2018: RiutBag R15.3 Backpack

Has your backpack seen better days? Then this could be the time to invest in a new backpack that we think will see you through your daily commute to work and will also serve as an ideal carry-on for your holiday get away.  Meet the 15L convertible style backwards backpack from RiutBag. We were kindly sent this to review, John was more too happy to share his thoughts.

“Designed to carry a 15” laptop I think this waterproof, backwards backpack, RuitBag R15.3 is both stylish and practical and features a selection of pouches and pockets for safely stowing away belongings. At last a company who agrees that pouches and zipped pockets should all be against your back making it almost impossible for any light fingered thief to help themselves to your ipad or wallet

Built to last this anti-abrasive nylon shell not only looks good it’s also built to last. When it comes to airports I tend to rush around maniacally with my over loaded suitcase in one hand and my backpack dangling from my wrist.  Thankfully this could be a thing of the past as the RiutBag not only has a trolley suitcase strap that I can easily slip over the handle as well as a further three sets of useful straps, and it’s also designed to fit airline hand luggage size restrictions.

The Riut backpack zips open just like a full sized suitcase and I really love its bright yellow interior fabric which I think makes it even easier to pack and find my belongings.  The mesh organisers are perfect for storing my tablet, cables etc and the handy D-pocket is the ideal place for storing my passport and even more importantly, getting it out quickly at the airport.

The backpack is also fitted with two exterior water bottle holders and has a strong and comfortable top handle and a clip for a bike light.  Strong and smart, at present it only appears to come in black, hopefully we’ll see it in a few more colours soon.  It’s also good to know that this is a vegan friendly backpack and there are no animal or animal by-products used in the making of it.

All in all I think the RuitBag backpack is the perfect way to safely and swiftly carry everything I need whether it’s for work or flying off for a few days holiday.
