Christmas Gift Review 2019: Disney Frozen Official Musical Advent Calendar

With the release of Frozen 2 on the horizon, it’s obvious that the world is still as obsessed with Frozen than ever before. We were very luckily sent the new Disney Frozen Official Musical Advent Calendar for 2019, here’s what Katy from our team thought.

Everyone here at UTCT HQ are Disney fans but it was Katy who managed to claim the Frozen Musical Advent Calendar to test out.

Katy said:  “When this arrived I was instantly excited to open the doors and listen to the music being played. This opens like a pizza box. With the magnet on the bottom, the top and bottom are secured together with a ribbon tie.

The scene depicted in the advent calendar is – you guessed it – a snowy wintry scene. The calendar was filled with 24 doors/windows, each of which had a new item to fill the snowy scene. I couldn’t wait to open up each one to see what else I could add to the winter scene.

Inside I found to stickers, pop up trees and figurines, although I don’t want to say too much about what they looked like as I don’t want to give too much away and spoil the surprise.

The figurines have a magnetic strip on the bottom. Simply press the ‘Play here’ button which plays different music and watch as the characters dance around the board. It was amazing to watch them move around the advent calendar and they didn’t fall of or fall over which was great.

The music is all instrumental and every inch the festive display that Disney Frozen fans would be excited to build day on day.

This is one of the most ‘christmassy’ advent calendars we have ever received and I personally would be happy, even as an adult, to receive this.”

Batteries are supplied with the calendar (3 x AAA batteries) and are replaceable at the back. This is suitable for ages 3+.

The Disney Frozen Official Musical Advent Calendar is available for £25.

We were kindly sent to review but all thoughts are our own.
