Holly from our team always loves to try out unique gifts and was keen the review the ‘Name A Star’ service. Here’s Holly’s thoughts: ‘I’m always on the lookout for fun, unique gifts to give my friends and family at Christmas and have the say the ‘Name A Star’ was the ideal gift I was looking for.
[pto prices=”Name a Star”]The gift box had everything I needed to get a star named after the recipient of this gift and clearly explained what I had to do to register my stars name. In the box was a welcome letter, instructions on how to register the gift (which I must say was so straight forward and easy), information about the star, a guide on how to locate my star, stars & Astronomy booklet and a presentation certificate.
To register, I was requested to leave the name and postal address that I wanted the certificate to be delivered to and my phone number, my chosen stars name, unique database number, star area name, constellation (which I could find in the text area if the included coordinates sheet) and sent this off to the freepost address. I also took a look at the included booklet, which told me all about the northern constellations and a star chart which when unfolded is a decent size. I put this up in my living room and I could show friends and family where the star is on the map which they were all very impressed with!
Overall I really liked the ‘Name A Star’ gift, it was really personal and is a unique present idea – especially for those who have everything!”
