“I do love toys that kids can get a lot of use from and can play with their friends with, so I was keen to give the Playmobil Marla Fairy-tale Castle a try. When I first took all of the pieces out of the box, it seemed like there was lots to do to put this together however I was pleasantly surprised just how easy and quick this was to assemble.

I used the included instructions and followed the assembly diagrams to ensure I got all of the pieces into the correct slots and within no time at all, I had a fully assembled fairytale castle, animals, landscape and characters. The characters included Marla who is dressed in a beautiful blue ball gown dress and the fairy godmother who is dressed in a vibrant blue/purple dress with her trusty wings.

The set also included other magical creatures such as a magical unicorn, rabbits, deer, squirrel and many more forest animals. I was really impressed with the attention to detail and also with how well the pieces stay in place as sometimes you can get play sets where the minute you start using them, they break off pieces etc so that was a big tick from me.

As I mentioned there are lots of pieces, 162 to be exact, kids are really going to love this, especially any Marla fan, as they can go on magical adventures and really get their imaginations working, this really is a great playset to open up and instantly be able to use on Christmas morning.”
