Make the world better with a sweater on Friday 12th December 2014 with the annual Save The Children UK Christmas jumper day.
Get tinselled up and join thousands who will take part in this years Save The Children, Christmas Jumper day. On Friday 12th December families, schools, work places and more will don their wooly wonder to raise money for disadvantaged children across the globe.
Like last year, UnderTheChristmasTree will be rummaging through the latest festive knitwear to take part in this years event, from nostalgic scenes to a bright green elf we had it all going on, and for 2014 we will go bigger, better and brighter – if that’s possible!
Want to take part? It’s as easy as Santa eating a full pack of mince pies! Simply dig out (or buy) your seasonal knitwear for Friday twelfth of December and donate at least £1 to Save The Children.
Don’t have a cheesy jumper? No problem! Take an ordinary sweater and get crafty, go all out on sequins and even a flashing red nose for rudolph and if all else fails you’ll just have to wear the one your granny knitted you.
Celebrities such as Myleene Klass, Julie Walters, Lorraine Kelly, Gok Wan, Rochelle Humes and more showed their “good wool” for 2013 and we can only imagine that even more celebs will take part in this years day!
Make the world better with a sweater, donating just £1 can truely make a difference. Money raised could pay for nine sachets of oral rehydration treatment for children suffering from deadly diarrhoea or even help pay for a midwife’s training.
Visit http://www.savethechildren.org.uk to find tips, tricks and more importantly to donate!
You would be a scrooge to miss out on this fun day.
