Christmas TV – David Walliams’ Grandpa’s Great Escape

Great news for David Walliams fans as it has just been announced that his book Grandpa’s Great Escape is to be shown on BBC One this Christmas.

This tells the story of Jack (who will be played by David Walliams) and his Grandpa who was a World War II flying ace that sadly now suffers from Alzheimer’s and as his family can no longer care for him   he has to move into Twilight Towers, an old people’s home.

The book shows the bond between a small boy and his beloved Grandpa. This is the fifth time that one that has been made into a Christmas TV special.
