Hackney Empire Announces Christmas Panto Is Sleeping Beauty

Hackney Empire has announced that its Christmas 2016 Pantomime will be Sleeping Beauty.

Welcome to enchanted Hackneytopia; a land of fairies, unicorns and dragons where once upon a time, a princess is born. Spurned at the celebration party, malevolent wicked fairy Carabosse casts an evil spell which changes the Princess’s life forever.

In this brand new pantomime, which was created by Hackney Empire’s award-winning team, Creative Director Susie McKenna and Musical Composer Steve Edis bring this traditional fairytale right up to date.

In true Hackney Empire style, this spellbinding family pantomime will be packed with colourful characters, knockabout comedy, show-stopping musical routines, magic and sparkle.

Performances of Sleeping Beauty will run from Sat 26 Nov 2016 to Sun 8 Jan 2017 with tickets available from www.hackneyempire.co.uk  priced from £10 to £36.
