Bandai kindly sent UndertheChristmasTree a hot pink version to review so lets get the plastic covering removed and see what’s inside the box.
Holly is our resident crafting guru so we passed this set over to her and this is what she had to say about it.
“Firstly I must mention the box – it’s the perfect showcase for your designs and the hot pink colour makes it really stand out. The handle, like the rest of the case is made from hard plastic, it’s sturdy and the design on the front of the box is repeated on the handle. Beside the handle there’s a heart shape which is used to open it up.
Inside is a treasure store of fabrics and accessories that any young designer would love to get their hands on, as well as a mannequin to show off their designs. Everything fits neatly inside and it would be ideal for taking with them so they can design on the go. I wish I’d had one of these when I was 6 in fact I’d quite like one now! One thing I really like about this set is that you can get bits and pieces of fabric, jewellery, trimmings etc anywhere and really cheaply so their kit just keeps growing as their designing skills get better and better.
As this is for age 6 and over it’s such a good idea that kids won’t need scissors, glue or needles to put their creations together as the mannequin that comes with it has a silicon strip on its back which holds their designs in place and once completed the carry box acts as a window to show off their latest creative masterpiece.
I think any children who are keen on crafting and design would have hours of fun creating and designing their own individual styles and when they’re finished for the day everything fits neatly into the carry box until their ready to complete their designs. I love this easy to use kit and think it would be ideal for creative kids”.
