House Of Fraser Shopable Windows To Launch At Christmas!

The majority of House Of Fraser’s customers are in store with more than 70% of all sales coming from in store. This Christmas, the family favourite stores hope to make their customers ‘multi channel’  purchasers.

The idea is that if your nearest House Of Fraser is busy or closed you can shop via the front window and beat those nasty queues and manic Christmas shoppers.

Speaking of the new venture, Chief Customer Office Andy Harding said:

“We’ll just enable the whole window from outside so when the store’s closed or is busy you can just shop from the window.”

The idea started last year with I-Beacon mannequins where customers could shop using just just their mobile phone and the mannequins throughout the store.

We reckon this new “window shopping” experience will likely be taken on board by other retailers for the festive season.

Will you shop this way over the festive season? As always you can let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
