How to prepare for Christmas in Lockdown

With the Coronavirus never far from our thoughts and with flights cancelled, and schools closed, could this be a good time to start buying or making hand made Christmas gifts for friends and families?

So far this year most Mum’s and Dad’s have already missed out on both Mother’s Day and Fathers Day as kids have been stuck indoors, unable to run around or take part in their annual Easter Egg hunt.

With most of us in the UK in lock-down, could this be a good time for adults and children to start making Christmas presents for all the family?

Although it’s only April families have already started saving for Christmas gifts, with many opting to  spread the cost and pay into a Christmas saving scheme.  With many shops and businesses already closed and annual events cancelled many families have put any pre Christmas events on hold.

Children love to make gifts for their parents and grandparents and these are without question always a favourite with friends and family. One of our all time favourite gifts has to be a collection of pine cones that had been individually  decorated with icing sugar snow.

Fingers crossed that this dreadful pandemic will have gone for good and we can all look forward to a happy and healthy Christmas 2020.
