Hilarious fun for all the family, this easy to play game requires no drawing skills whatsoever as pre printed sheets with circles come along with the game. These are ideal for younger children as they can add a little to the circle to make the image.
Although there are a good number of sheets with the It’s a Chicken! game it would be a good idea to photocopy the included template so that you always have spares ready as this is one game that will be played again and again.
You will need to have a supply of pencils on hand – unfortunately these are not included in the box. Younger children can take part to as the word cards even have a picture so that they can copy it and play along.
Put the round yellow timer with the red chicken head into the centre of the table along with the pack of cards, chicken side up. The youngest players should then throw the dice to start the game, the dice is colour coded to match the suggestions on the cards.
The timer ‘clucks’ and when the time is almost done the cock crows, this adds to the fun and is much more exciting than your basic egg timer style.
Suitable for kids age 5 and over, It’s a Chicken requires 3 x AAA batteries, which, unfortunately, are not included. Children of all abilities will love this exciting drawing game, which also helps encourage concentration, pencil skills, social interaction and imagination.
Will the other players (this game is for 3 or more players) guess what you are drawing?
Can they guess the word before the timer ‘clucks’ them out? As soon as the word is guessed the drawer presses the timer to stop it. Points are allocated to both the drawer and the player who correctly guessed and score the points last spoken by the timer.
The game is completed when each player has drawn 5 cards and the winner is the player with the greatest number of points.
