Marti has some big boots to fill as he follows in the footsteps of past performers John Barrowman and David Hasselhoff.
Achieving some of the UK’s biggest number-one singles, Marti has regularly featured in the UK charts throughout his career, both as a solo artist and as the lead singer with Wet Wet Wet.
Joining Marti on stage will be Glasgow panto favourite Johnny Mac as Wishee Washee. No stranger to pantomime, Johnny has been making Scotland laugh every Christmas for over 15 years, and this year will be no exception.
Executive producer Michael Harrison said ‘We are delighted that Marti will star in Glasgow’s biggest pantomime in another top-drawer Christmas show packed with comedy, supplied by the unique Johnny Mac, amazing costumes and sets and unmissable special effects. This is pantomime at its best!’
Aladdin will run at the SECC Clyde Auditorium from December 10th to 31st 2016. Tickets available from www.secc.co.uk or by calling 0844 395 4000.
