The Royal Albert Hall will be throwing open its doors this December as it reveals its 2022 festive line-up. From Trevor Nelson’s Soul Christmas to returning favourite Carols at the Royal Albert Hall, it’ll be a party like never before.
Home Alone concert…yes please!
Get ready to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with the Royal Albert Hall as it opens its doors this December with a host of festive favourite shows and furthermore you’ll be able to celebrate together direct from inside the hall as they welcome back a live audience.
For 150 years, the historic venue has celebrated the holiday season in true British style as it played host to stunning new shows and all-out Christmas shows. From Jazz to traditional classics, it’s time to book your tickets for the festive season.
In previous years, although we were unable to physically be inside a theatre we were still able to enjoy shows in our homes as the iconic British theatre streamed online however nothing quite beats bums in chairs at an actual show.
Highlights for this season include Christmas with the Royal Choral Society and the most popular party around Guy Barker’s Big Band Christmas.
New for this year the RAH will offer A Christmas Gaiety – where drag queens and special guests perform some Christmas classics alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra, and the return of Home Alone in Concert – where this classic 90s Christmas film is projected onto a giant HD screen, while John Williams’ score is performed live by an orchestra.
