What day does Christmas day 2024 fall on this year?

It’s getting to that time of year again when more and more of us are starting to think about Christmas. So what day does Christmas fall on this 2024?

Last year Christmas day fell on Monday 25th December 2023 with many of the UK receiving a few well-needed extra days off as the official bank holidays fell on Tuesday 26th December and Wednesday 27th December, giving many of us four consecutive days off over the festive period.

This year Christmas Day will fall on should have been on Tuesday 25th December 2024 however as this year was a leap year Christmas Day will now fall on Wednesday 25th December 2024 with Christmas Eve being the Tuesday.

The next time Christmas Day falls on a Wednesday will be in 2030!
