Sherlock Holmes Christmas Return Confirmed

We all love a bit of Sherlock Holmes and after the last cliff hanger, we literally cannot wait for the shows return. Martin Freeman recently confirmed that the hit show will return in time for Christmas – Hurrah!

Unfortunately for all us Sherlock fans, Martin Freeman revealed that it is unlikely to air until Christmas 2015.  Now before you all start boo-ing, keep in mind that they have a whole 18 months to perfect the episode meaning that this should be an epic episode of Sherlock Holmes. We’re excited already!

Speaking about the Christmas special, Freeman said:

“If that’s going to be a special – I’m speaking off-message here; if this was New Labour I’d get fired – I think that might be for next Christmas. A Christmas special. That’s what I understand,”

Not a lot of that makes a huge amount of sense to us, but who cares! Sherlock is coming back and we could not be more excited!
