As the summer solstice marks the longest day of the year, this means one thing – the nights will be shorter and will get darker quicker, making Christmas one step closer.
The darker nights are here, well nearly.
People across the UK have welcomed the summer solstice, marking the longest day of the year, June 21st. With deckchairs, ice cream and flip-flops at the top of everyone’s mind, we simply can’t help but think – Winter is coming, which means Christmas is nearly here.
The nights will now of course get shorter between now and the Winter solstice on December 21st.
We might not be drinking hot chocolates and wearing cosy jumpers just yet, however that doesn’t stop us thinking about them.
