We previously reported that Pickering’s Gin would be releasing it’s hugely popular Gin baubles again this year and now there ready for ordering.
In 2016 Edinburgh based Pickerings released it’s Gin baubles which sold out of 30,000 of their gin-filled baubles in an astonishing 82 seconds and this year looks set to be the same.
To keep up with demand the team over at Pickering’s has expanded it’s staff from nine to fifteen and have hired an additional 19 elves part time. Pre-order of it’s Christmas baubles to its #Ginfriends mailing list saw 10% of it’s stock was snapped up in July. The baubles which are 50cl will cost £30.00 and each pack has 6 baubles.
Marcus Pickering, co-founder commented: “The idea for the baubles started in 2014 as a bit of fun for our local Christmas fair, now they’re the must-have Christmas decoration. Others may follow but we were most definitely the first to add that gin sparkle to trees around the country.
“We seem to have really captured the imagination of the gin lover and our baubles have now become a staple of our distillery. Christmas starts very, very early at Pickering’s HQ and we’re excited to finally unveil our biggest ever crop of Pickering’s Gin Baubles.”
We can’t wait to see how quickly these baubles will be snapped up this year and if Pickerings can beat last year’s record of just 82 seconds!
